About three years ago, me and some friends from highschool started a band. Some of us didn't even know how to play an instrument but that didn't stop us from becoming Rising Tigers. I started out on bass guitar a long with Nigel. Vief was rocking the accoustic guitar and Dwight hit the drums.
Back then we had a pianist and two other guys on electric guitar. We rehearsed once a week and studied a lot of pop covers.
As time moved on those last three guys decided to take another path in music. We went on with our rehearsels but felt we really missed a few elements in our music.
Than Jenny came a long. A talented brunette who plays the keys. And since a few weeks we got an additional singer and guitarist in our midst: Eline. We finally feel complete again and even have a few gigs coming up!
Now we rehearse about every 1 or 2 weeks. And we even got our own soundguy (Eline's boyfriend Tom).
So, so far we doing good.
Here's a vid on You Tube from our last rehearsel where we did a cover of Ten Feet Tall and Sugar.
We still have a long way to go to become an awesome coverband. But most important we all love what we're doing. Making music together and having fun as a band.
